Become a YouthLight Author

Thank you for your interest in publishing with YouthLight, Inc. We are an educational support company that develops and markets resources primarily for professional educators. We provide a high royalty rate and require no financial investment from our authors. Your proposal to publish with us would be welcomed.

To submit a proposal, please use the following procedures:

    A. Look through our catalog and consider whether or not you believe your proposed work would be a good fit with our company.

    B. Provide us with only one copy of your proposal. Note that we do not return materials that are submitted to us, so retain your original work and send us a copy. At the minimum, we need a proposed title, outline, and a few sample pages. We welcome proposals ranging from an initial concept to a completed manuscript.

    C. Please provide answers to the following questions:

    1. What type of work are you proposing? (e.g., book, CD, kit)
    2. For whom would this material be written? (e.g., students in grades 4-8, high school counselors, professional educators in grades PK-3)
Note that we typically do not publish, color-illustrated children’s books such as those found in libraries.
    3. How could you help us to market this work if it is published?

    D. Include a copy of your resume or vita, and your contact information--especially your
    e-mail address.

We look forward to considering your work for possible publication.

Sincerely,

Robert P. Bowman, Ph.D.
President
