Poor Seemor! Other animals tease him with no mercy because he is a little different. Soon, Seemor's frustration and hurt feelings grow into a boiling anger. But, fortunately, he takes positive action for a safe resolution and, by coincidence, finds peace in his heart.
Children respond to this story with a strong sense of empathy for Seemor. Using the optional puppets, the story can be performed and children can converse with Seemor about their own troubles. Seemor can be a very good listener!
This book also contains lessons, activities and reproducible worksheets with lessons about character education, positive and negative consequences of behavior, anger management, bullying, feelings, and friendship. An added bonus is that these lessons can also be easily incorporated into the academic areas of language arts, social studies and geography.
